Emsys Maritime appoints new Service Manager

Emsys Maritime Ltd (UK) are pleased to welcome Tim Holt who joins the company in the capacity of Marine Service Manager.

Mr. Holt has an extensive background in the design, installation and maintenance and support of maritime emissions monitoring technology. He has held senior positions with various organisation’s specializing in complex maritime and land based emissions measurement applications.

Originally trained as an aircraft electrical and avionics technician in the Royal Air Force, Mr. Holt’s’ expertise has taken him on a global journey working on aircraft such as Harrier Jump Jets, Jaguar Attack Jets and more latterly the A340 and A380 passenger aircraft whilst working at AIRBUS.

His new role will be to spearhead the expansion of Emsys Maritime’s Spares and Service Department. Tim’s primary role will be to support the large installed base of Emsys systems and the predicted strong growth in new marine emissions monitoring installations.

Mr. Holt comments ‘I am thrilled to be joining Emsys Maritime at this pivotal time in both the company’s and industry’s development. Emsys is a truly market leading product and has already established an installation base across many blue-chip shipping operators within the cruise, container, tankship and LNG market sectors. Having already become the defacto technology on many scrubber installations, the new EU MRV regulations are another ideal application for the Emsys laser technology. I am looking forward to working with the highly professional team at Emsys Maritime to deliver on the company’s strategic objectives’
