Established by Simon Brown, using his experience as the Chairman of the IMO Working Group of experts (which revised the NOx Technical Code as part of the MARPOL Annex VI revisions), Emsys Maritime has since grown from strength to strength into a leading international manufacturer with a passionate, hardworking team.
Propelled by the prospect of the maritime industry achieving its long term environmental goals, the Emsys team employ a wide range of expertise. From being in-house Dangerous Goods accredited, allowing for faster calibration gas shipments, to our highly qualified technicians providing both in-person and remote through-life support. We are passionate about the development of our team, keeping customer experience at the heart of our upskilling and training.
Our focus on quality covers our products too. Emsys platforms are unique patented technology, which carries the highest level of Type Approval accreditation, suitable for every application in the maritime industry.
Our environmental focus is not just limited to our products, our UK office has been paperless since our founding. Our packaging policy is reviewed yearly with the aim of recycling or reusing all packaging, and our carbon footprint is considered with all shipments, with fewer bulk shipments often deployed.
Now our team’s brilliant efforts and award-winning technology have earned us a place as a recognised specialist supplier for the maritime industry, with some of the biggest names in the shipping industry in our installation reference list.
In April 2021 Emsys Maritime were honoured to be awarded a Queens Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. The award was in recognition of outstanding performance in international exports for the previous 3 years. Each year, a small number of British company’s receive this recognition from UK Prime Minister on behalf of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
