Emsys Maritime is an award-winning company, we’re currently looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to join our Award Winning team.

Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment which supports technical products.

You must be confident working with customers and contacts from many different countries.

Mechanical and electrical and manufacturing knowledge is not essential but would be advantageous as training will be provided.

The Role

You will be required to support different departments including spares, logistics and our offsite manufacturing facility. The role is extremely varied and suited to candidates who prefer working in a fast paced, and supportive environment.

You will also be performing general admin tasks such as preparing quotations, raising purchase orders, uploading invoices, ordering of materials, basic document filling updating our configuration management database; therefore, you should be comfortable working with Word, Excel, and other Cloud-based software applications.

Required Skills

Understanding the requirements of installation works in the offshore and ocean-going marine sectors (not essential)

Qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline (not essential)

CAD/AutoCAD knowledge – preparation of installation drawings and schematics (not essential)

Good communicator

Confident team player

Attention to detail

Competent with MS Office, Excel and other industry standard software packages

Must be able to follow processes

React to difficult situations

Problem solving

Fluent English language

Must have a right to work in the UK

The role is full-time office based in Altrincham therefore the candidate must be in commutable distance
