Emsys Maritime formally presented with The Queens Award for Enterprise

On Friday 1st October 2021, we were delighted to formally receive our Queens Award for International Trade from Mr. Mark Adlestone OBE DL, Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.

It is a great honour to receive this award, which is recommended by the Prime Minister and approved by Her Majesty the Queen. It is the pinnacle of business recognition in the United Kingdom as our submission has been scrutinized and audited by government officials to confirm the accuracy of our application.

The presentation included the receipt of a beautifully engraved  crystal bowl and a scroll detailing our award which is signed by both Her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and The Rt Honourable Boris Johnson, Prime Minister.

We also are allowed to fly the royal queens awards flag on our building for a period of 5 years. We just now have to get a flagpole!

The award was gratefully accepted by our Service Manager Michala Tomkinson.
